Legs

I went to a UT game a few weeks ago, and I noticed something that never really hit me before. Cheerleaders. They bounce up and down for the entire 3 hours of the game... literally, the whole time. And they have THE best legs. I've always wanted "cheerleader legs" Can I get this if I just stand and bounce all day? Will I lose weight?

    I graduated high school two years ago, and I was the varsity cheer captain. Yes, it must be true , all you have to do is bounce up and down for a few hours, because shortly after high school my legs went from "cheerleader legs" to being a little on the thunder thigh side!!!
  • If you think about it they are jump roping with the rope. Maybe add that into your regular routine and see what happens. Gymnasts have nice legs too. All those Olympians are a huge part of my motivation!

    Before I post, I think I should explain.. The base idea of someone chearleading to loose weight, OR the op chearleading is NOT what I'm laughing at. Evil things happened in my head after... like..

    T-O-A-S-T TOAST GO TOAST

    and go water, heat water, boil boil boil.


    Then it went down hill.. and i totally couldn't stop laughing.

    On vacation this year we were in Daytona while the cheer championships were going on. Holy cow did those girls have nice bodies!!! They were only like 21-22 to be fair, but still! They looked amazing! Very athletic!

    for serious though . . . I was a cheerleader all through middle school and high school. The jumping/bouncing and tumbling is a good work out. I want that body back :grumble:

    Go for it...if you don't feel right just jumping abound, grab a jump rope, kinda the same think!

    get a rebounder (Mini Trampoline)... put it in your living room and jump on it during commercials. Look up the benefits for, they are endless.(ex: better circulation = less cellulite and less spider veins <-- SOLD)

    Seriously - - jumping rope is a killer exercise for the lower body. It is a lot harder than it looks after the first minute. Cheap and it can be done anywhere too!
