Morning Exercise - Fast Weight Lose

On Monday I changed my work out routine to mornings. So I'm getting up and working out, mostly cardio, for 40-45 minutes. I have changed up my diet, same calories, just different foods. I have been eating the same breakfast and lunch since February to make it easier. I have also kept a 1 mile run at night. So over all I have not increased the length of my exercise time just changed the times during the day.
So with all that being said, I have lost 3 pounds since Sunday. Does this seem possible that these changes would jump start my weight loss again? Has this happened to anybody else?

It seems reasonable to me. Your making a change, even if it's just a time of day. I've heard that you need to change up your routine every once in awhile to confuse your body so it doesn't get comfortable. Good job and way to go on the loss.0

Even tho its broscience an AM workout can lead to a metabolism boost for the day I personally love working out in the morning there is something called "fasted" cardio which is said to help burn more fat this is also broscience but I do it and it works for me lol.
Also if your "different foods" are cleaner healthier foods then yes you should have a change CALORIES ARE NOT EQUAL 300 Calories of cake is not the same as 300 Cal of boneless skinless chicken breast.0 -

ok what you are seeing after you preform cardio it bumps your metabolism up for a period of time through out the day some people like to break there cardio up to have that bump in the metabolism but you need a minum of 10 minutes of cardio in a single work out i started morning work outs this week the other thing it helps with is a less stressful day which the inhibitors that are released are factors to weight gain (or so this is what my health teacher told me)0 -
VERY possible! GREAT job and keep it up!!
I am getting to where I LOVE working out in the morning!! Something about getting that blood pumping first thing!! Now, I wish I had more room in my living room and such but, it is still great!!0 -
A trainer at my gym states that its better to do cardio in the morning for the extra metabolism boost. I've been working out in the morning and still going in the evening. I wanted to increase my workout time but I had limited time in the evening so working out in the morning really helps.0

I've heard AM workouts do help boost your metabolism. It helps get your blood flowing and the bonus you wake up more and are energized for the day..0
