a couple of NSV's lately

I did some clothes shopping over this past weekend and it hit me - I've gone from a 5X (and pushing not being able to fit into those!) down to a solid 2X.

And these are minor , but still big, too - you know?

Today for the first time I noticed my ring sliding around on my finger - to the point where I don't think I'll be able to wear it this winter. It's already moved from my ring finger to my pinky finger.

Today I also noticed that I was able to do the stairs up to my office building without holding onto the railing. That may seem strange but I had both knees replaced this past winter and my quad muscles are taking forever to recover so stairs are still a challenge. But today I realized I'd gone down the stairs without holding onto the railing and I said to my co-worker, "Look Mom - no hands!"

Yaaaay, NSV's!!! Those are fantastic... but be careful on the stairs - railings are there for a reason, lol :) (this coming from someone with the experience of breaking their tailbone... not fun.)

    anyway, WTG!!!!!

Good for you!!! I'll bet you are having a much easier time finding clothes that you like too! There are so many benefits to weight loss! By the way...what is an NSV? Is it a type of goal?
