bring on the SNACKS!

I started my "diet" by cutting out refined sugar / processed foods..it seemed easy when I started, as I've never had a sweet tooth, and I wasn't used to fast food anyway.
I lost weight fast (4 kg in ten days) and felt great!

After a while I was allowing myself very small portions of food with sugar in it (Ketchup, a cookie, nesquik), and even when staying under my calorie goal I felt like I was slipping down! I want to go back strictly but I'm having constant cravings in between meals!

Do you have any low-calorie HEALTHY snack ideas?
I'm not too friendly with veggies, so alternatives would also be very much appreciated.

On sugar: Even the most hard-core savory fan will have a sweet craving every now and then, right? For me, it's when that time of the month comes...I'm like a botomless pit and I could eat chocolate all.day.long..
Am I wrong in thinking dark chocolate and dark cocoa powder are not off limits? (in reasonable quantities, of course)

You guys are incredibly creative...I'm sure you have some recipes with chocolate that are not a caloric bombing?
Thank you so much! :blushing:

These work for me.. maybe they'll be of help to you:

-a 'good 4 you' yogurt serving with a 1/4c fibre one cereal mixed in- it actually tastes great, has crunch and is extremely filling
    - glass of V8 or other 'heavy juice' - one thats low-sodium an good for u of course ;)
    -popcorn
    -dry 'good 4 you' cereal
-slim fast bars / fibre one bars

Fibre will fill you an help to feel satisfied, thus subsiding cravings. Whether you 'hide' it in yogurt, a muffin or whatever healthy option you choose :)

Vitamins. I find that if I keep taking my multi, daily vitamin my cravings disappear altogether..makes sense though.

    Good luck!
