I'd say no, unless you forgot to shower.

Yeah...cologne/perfume should only be used in enough amount that only someone RIGHT UP ON YOU will smell it. Not people in a 5-10 foot radius...

only if its for a stripper ...... then the fragrance would be cucumber melon

NO! the wrong scent can be very off-putting. And the person you interview with may have an allergy to perfumes!

    EXACTLY!!!!! Thank you!!

Perfume is supposed to be an intimate thing. Someone should be able to smell it on you if you embrace, if you're dancing together, or they are standing extremely close to you.

You're not suppose to marinate in it.

And I would say definitely NO for an interview. You don't know who could be scent-sensitive in that work place.

Yes but LIGHTLY. I mean SO LIGHTLY it's almost not there ... which begs the question; why wear it anyway?
  • absolutely not at the interview and not on the job.

Honestly, I wouldn't... you don't know if A) there is a policy against wearing perfume or 2) if an interviewer is allergic/sensative to perfume... if it's strong or just the right scent it can be distracting

None you never know what a stranger is sensitive to. If they are allergic to you you will stand out as a poor reminder, and someone they will not want in the same building as them.

^^ Or they simply don't like the scent you wear. Some people mentally react negatively to some scents.

    def not

I agree--no. I like perfume but not everyone does.

I'm going to say no, for several reasons:

-if you happen to have an interviewer who is sensitive/allergic, your goose is cooked. Also bad if your perfume reminds them of that awful ex.

-when you get nervous and warm, that scent gets thrown a LOT farther than you would think possible. Even an appropriate amount can seem like way too much when you are overheated.

-second interviews can be group interviews or team project interviews. You may be sitting a lot closer to people than you anticipated, and be more nervous.

No. Stick to a nicely scented body wash and hair conditioner and leave it at that. You never know who you're going to offend, and worse, some people have allergies towards perfume. Make a beautiful visual presentation of yourself, not a scented one!

Nope don't wear any. Never know if someone is allergic or you could put too much on by accident.

Same goes for the perfumed hand/body creams......I've wanted to stick forks in my eyes when a co-worker used to over do it.....she's gone now....and I can breathe. lol

but seriously......no scent until you know how much it's accepted if you get the job. And congrats on the 2nd interview.......will keep fingers crossed! :flowerforyou:
