I fractured my right ankle running.I love working out, it helps me sleep better at night and the endorphins keep me in a good mood all the time.
So my doc said , no jumping , no walking for long periods of time... No lunges or squats (unless I do them against a wall) and of course no running at all.
I can swim but most public pools are closed now. I can bike and use a elliptical machine.
I will be lifting weights for the top half of my body in my own home gym and doing beachbody ab workouts. I am looking for suggestions of workouts that will keep me burning the calories and sleeping well at night. So any program suggestions would be helpful and anything else you think I might be able to try would be nice ..THANKS IN ADVANCE MFP PEEPS!! :flowerforyou:

I had a fractured os trigonum taken out of my left ankle two months ago. I also had the same instructions from my doctor about limiting the types of exercise. My physical therapist suggested mixing up the elliptical and bike, and trying some water aerobics.0
