Vegetarian Protein

I have been vegetarian four years now. This is one of the first times I have been more concerned not only with food that tastes good but is also full of nutrition. I am looking for options to get my protein that isn't faux meat. I know you can get it from beans, lentils etc however, since I haven't worked with those, I am curious as to how you fit them into your meals. Recipes/Ideas would be great thanks.
PS: For those ANTI-Vegetarian, please keep your thoughts and opinions to yourself. This is my choice, I made it, and am asking you respect that choice just like I respect the choice for you to eat animals. Thanks.
