Hi, I'm 26 yo female,153cm and weigh 56kg. My BMR is 1340
My question is that I'm not sure if I'm eating the correct amount of calories for weight loss?
There's so many confusing topics on what to do so hoping someone could shed some light?
I work out 5 days a week. Alternating between weights and cardio, weights 3 times a week and cardio on other days. I generally eat around 1300 cals and burn 450-500 cals.( I have a heart rate monitor) . But on weekends always seem to over eat. Could it be from not eating enough?
MFP has me set on 1200 but I upped it to 1340??
Anyone's advice would be great!!! :-)

make sure you log all of your food, drink and exercise on MFP and it will tell you if you have eaten enough or whether you need to eat more.0

Are you eating back any exercise calories? If so, then your question is whether the base estimate of how many calories you're burning is accurate, which would have an impact on the number of calories you eat for weight loss.
First, I'd say that it takes a little experimentation to figure out exactly what you burn in a day based on one's supposed BMR and data from HRM, etc. If you're curious, I would suggest trying to eat what your theoretical maintenance should be given your activity level and see if your weight changes.
Second, if you're not eating back any exercise calories, I'd try eating back around half of them and see what happens after about a month.
The weekends are kind of a wild card. You can absolutely negate work you've done to lose weight during week by eating too much on the weekends. If that's the case, then you're kind of left with the option of being a little m ore disciplined on the weekends.0
