What's your Favourite High Fibre Food?

Fibre, Fibre, Fibre, i can't get enough of it, because i have to.....i would love for you all to share your favourite high fibre food or high fibre meal. I have to have 30plus grams a day, any suggestions would be helpful.

I have my first weigh in tomorrow am ( once a week) I'm hoping all this fibre won't hinder my weight loss, guess ill have to weight and see, lol

    Fruit! Haha! :P Have a mono-meal of all bananas and your belly will love you for it!

    Fiber One Cereals
    Kashi Go Lean Original
    Beans and pasta or rice (wheat pasta or brown rice)
    Prunes
    Sweet Potatoe
    Whole Wheat Bagels/ Bread

    All bran bars dunked in coffee or milk
    Beans and wieners with a dash of hot sauce
    Raw celery, carrots, sugar snap peas
    Raisin bran
    slow-cooked oatmeal (different type of fibre, but still good for you)
    Apples
    Homemade hummus
  • BUTTERNUT SQUASH. OMG. Heaps of vitamin A too.
    Chickpeas and lentils as well.
  • IDK what other people think of them, but I like the Fiber One Chewy bars. I also like to go the fresh fruit rout mentioned earlier.

    I love vitatops--they are so filling and tons of fiber--yummy!

    Also the new fiber one 90 calorie bars (chocolate peanut butter and/or chocolate caramel pretzel) are amazing!

    GG Crisp Crackers. It's like eating a brillo pad but you get loads of fiber. Goes down best with some cheese. I recommend a sharp cheddar or brie.

    Berries(strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)

    They're also some the most micronutrient rich fruits.

  • personally, i try and drink some V8 they have fiber in them.. i think. any type of green vegtable is fiber. you could go and get fiber bars and stuff, but most of them cost alotta money :( if you can afford it go for it. =3 i hope you find more fibre things. the people here are nice and will help. ^w^

    Carrots and almonds. Fiber fortified granola bars and other foods tend to make my stomach hurt.
  • Wheatbran! 1tbsp has 3g fiber and 1g protein! You just put it in whatever you eat, be it cereal, a sandwich or soup!

    Fiber bars are awesome....I just bought some peanut butter and jelly flavored ones....they rock!
  • Seriously, check out some of the Atkins Snack Bars. Loaded with both Protein, Fiber and Low Sugar. Most of their Advantage Bars are 10+g of Fiber and 10+g of Protein with 1-2g of Sugar.
