Noob on the forum - Am I doing ok?

Hi Guys,

Noob to this forum but have been using MFP for 38 days now. I have lost about 10 lbs so far - is that good in 38 days or should I be doing more ? I am happy with how it's going but not sure if my progress is about right ?

    Its generally expected when you first start. There is a lot of water weight lost up font and then levels out. Based on your ticker you should he aiming for about 1 lb per week to help mitigate the amount of muscle loss, which is what is key to having a lean and tight body. High protein (more than mfp suggest ) will help prevent this as well.

    I've been on for about the same time you have and I'm down about 12 lbs myself :-) I don't think there is a right answer for how fast to lose weight. For instance, someone who is 400 pounds is going to lose weight faster than someone who is 200 pounds... it's science. lol

    Everyone is different and it will level off. The question is do you feel good about it? I think you're doing great!!

    hpoddan - yeah I feel great, had to put some extra holes in my belt and some of my clothes are now hanging off me.:smile:
