I can't even begin to offer advice when you suggest that you should just live on Special K bars. I think other posters have given you some great advice. My diary is open but I don't eat like the majority of MFP members. Have a look at my macros and notice what I DON'T eat. I'm healthy and I'm losing lots of weight. The only big downside of my eating is that I love my coffee and have lots of it, but it works within my calorie and macro goals.0

I do not want to come off as mean or harsh-this is purely to help you figure out some ways to maybe improve.
I do not see any vegetables in your diet and most of your fruit is in the form of juice. I see a lot of fast food, prepackaged items and sodium in your diet.
On the other hand, if you (not to be crass) have not had a BM in a while, have had too much salt or are approaching shark week, you can gain a lot in water weight.
Try incorporating more whole fruits and vegetables, more high fiber foods like whole grains. Less processed foods and less takeout.
Exercise was pretty consistent for a while there and then it tapered off...going from lots of exercise to none could be part of it too.
Hope this helps-I really do just mean to give you advice.0 -
Too much sodium. It's just about the only way you can gain that much in a few days. I have a scale that measures body water. Even though it's not extremely accurate, it lets me see the reality of the weight on the scale.0

Please be kind to yourself and eat at least a little fruit and veg a day. As to weight fluctuations, as a very heavy woman I can vary 5 or more pounds in water weight over a few days. I have learned to ignore it and just sort out the healthier eating and trying to get a little fitter than I was last week. I'm no angel, but I do try and get my 5 fruit and veg a day if not more. It's just a matter of substituting a better option as often as you can. All that sugar, white flour and fats won't help you.
On your diet I would feel tired, lethargic and have no energy - but you're a lot younger than me so you can probably get away with it for now!
The best advice I ever heard was to avoid 'beige' food (ie pastry, cheap bread, biscuits/cookies, doughnuts, salty crackers and snacks etc) and get as much colour into your diet as possible. That doesn't mean M&Ms by the way, it means a rainbow of fruit and vegetables! I feel so much more alive on stuff like this and I'm still over 350 lbs - but I feel and move so much better than I have in years. As you can see from my ticker - it's working too! Good luck! :flowerforyou:0
