To all MFP friends. I did something this morning I didn't think I would ever do. First, you need to know a bit about Montana weather at this time of the year. When I started my walk this morning it was only 41 degrees out there. Half an hour into my walk, it was in the upper 60 degree range. But there I was, almost a mile from home and it was getting HOT!

Fortunately I was layered and I took off my loose fitting top layer with the long sleeves and finished my walk in my sleeveless tank. Until this time I would have suffered from the heat rather than let anyone see my large upper arms and still protruding belly. But, I've read many threads and posts in this Fittness and Exercise forum discussing the embarrassment thing and all of you who have posted "just get out there and do it" broke through my hesitation and I "just got out there and did it!"

While this seems more like a success story, I wanted to post it here to say "thank you" to everyone for posting your advice and encouragement. You never know how many people you are affecting in a positive way. Me included!
