Accountability partner anyone?

Hi! I've been trying to loose weight for most of my life, but have been met by failure.
Last year, I was a size 6-8. And that may seem small, and normally it is, but I am short, and that puts me on a BMI of overweight. I was just borderline obese then. I bought a pair of size 2 "diva" pants and told myself that I would fit into those pants as an affirmation that I would be under normal BMI rather than over weight.
Flash forward a year and I am now a size 8-10, with a BMI categorized as obese. The pants are still in my cabinet, hidden deep under baggy shirts and garter skirts.
I don't like it, not at all.
So I'm here on this site (again), ad maybe if I get an accountability partner it will be more effective. Keep each other motivated :) I fished out those pants again, and set them atop my things, and a pair of shorts I was comfortable enough to wear last year. It's not just about loosing weight, it's about feeling good that I did.
Let's loose weigh together!

Note: Size 2 is small, and size 6-8 is normal. But I'm short. I look like a big round pudgy ball. So please don't assume that I just want to be a size 2 for the sake of being a size 2.

hey ana! same problem here, Im petite also 4'11" I used to wear size 16 girls for shirts and 5 junior for pants, i had to quit my job due to health ,hit rock bottom with a depression and 3 years later size XL womens for shirts and 14 womens for pants, i was 155lbs and thats obese for that size.I started my weight loss journey this January with diets, lost 10 pounds like that in 3 months but disliked dieting.Ive been since mid June here in MFP and I love it, I eat whatever but always trying to eat healthy, trying not to eat carbs for dinner or keep it at a very small amount, and eat within my calories.ive lost 12 pounds with mfp,now im 133lbs, my short term goal is 129 for my bday in mid october and my ultimate goal is 120 or 115 by xmas. feel free to add me.
