Hey everyone, i am 22 years old and 5'5" My starting weight was 182.6 and my current weight is 172.8. My goal is 125 or wherever i feel comfortable, depending on my body shape at that point. I'm just wondering if anyone around 5'5" would gladly share their weight loss stories/ pictures with me? I've been at this for about a month and a half now and lost about 10 lbs. Thanks

I'm 23, 5'5 and started at 180lbs three years ago! I lost 50lbs in a year, then maintained at 130/135 until a couple of weeks ago. I'm now losing again, and I'm at 128, with a goal of 120lbs!
I did it by taking baby steps...learning how to cook, researching what is healthy, eating around 1500 calories a day + walking most days and working out three to four days a week for about 40 minutes. A lot of water + sleep are extremely important, and patience.
Its all about changing your entire lifestyle!
Feel free to add me, I have three before/after pics in my photos & you can mail me and ask me anything you want and I'll answer as best I can x0 -
I've gone from 175 at the beginning of the year to 140 as of today I still have about 10lbs to lose though.
Like Lyra, I started off with really small steps. I'd substitute salads for fries and cut portions in half. I started walking more, then using the elliptical machine once or twice a week, gradually increasing the time and resistance. Now I try to workout every day.
I have a before/after picture on my profile.0 -
Thanks guys! You both look amazing!0

I am 5'5 starting weight on MFP 173lbs, my heaviest was 192lbs and currently around 154lbs. My profile pic was earlier this summer at around 158lbs and a little over half way through P90X. After finishing P90X I took off about a week from working out before starting NROL4W. I'm still in phase 1 of NROL4W but I am enjoying the changes I see in my shape, even though the # on the scale hasn't dropped.0

I went from 160 at my highest to 145 now. I still going towards maybe 135, but right now I'm focused on toning and losing inches more than losing lbs.0 -

Hey, I'm 21, and somewhere between 5'5" and 5'6". My starting weight was 182, and my current weight is 163.4.
I just joined this website yesterday for the extra motivation, because when you don't have as much weight to lose as others, it eventually gets to the point where it takes much longer to lose and is more difficult.0 -
Hi! I'm 5'5 and went from 165 to 121. I'm new to MFP so don't have a lot of pics yet.0
