Jari Love's Ripped in 1000 is a great way to do both full body weights and cardio in one workout. You can adjust the weights and number of risers on your step and that way, people of all levels can do it. This is what I used when I started working out after having my baby.
  • sometimes they are cheesy but the Billy Blank Bootcamp videos will get you sweating and burning. I love them all and use them all. It is especially effective when I have a friend or two join in. :]
  • Thanks I need to start some where so I thought a work out DVD would help some what

If you are just starting out some of the walk slim DVDs by Leslie Sansone are quite good - it's a good start or add-to to your own walking program.

I use Leslie Sansone's Walking DVD's. She has some for Beginners and you could work your way up to her more Advanced Walking DVD's. She has All Levels-depending on want you want to do-Stretch Bands, Weights etc. I Love Her!!! They are reasonably priced, too. I find them at WalMart or online.
    Good Luck

  • Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred is great!!! I'm on day 18 and loving it. Plus, you don't have to buy it....all three levels can be watched for free on youtube! Youtube.com has a ton of great workout videos!!! :)
  • I started out doing P90x, not for beginners but finished it out, went back and doing beachbody's Slim in 6 series... much more aerobic based and it's really kicking my butt in a totally different way than P90X but it's pretty awesome for a good burn with moderate resistance training mixed in.
