    My biggest changes were:

*Brummel & Brown spread or Butter spray instead of actual butter or oil
*Water instead of sweet iced tea
*Lean cuts of meat instead of cheaper fatty cuts of meat in all types
*Egg-Beaters instead of whole eggs (or a mixture)
*Lowfat or fat free cheese (or a mixture) instead of regular
*Smart Taste or whole wheat pasta instead of regular

I can't think of anything more at the moment, although I know there's more.... I think mine are all kinda obvious though! LOL

I substitute vanilla ice cream with fat-free frozen coolwhip. I top it with a small amount of chocolate sauce and it is pretty good!

Spaghetti Squash is awesome if you are missing noodles, and next to no carbs!

Also I just bought the Sninny DIsh by Bethenny Frankle and honestly there are a ton of recipes with a ton of alterations to make something so simple healthy and enjoyable! I recommend it!

Our first changes & the ones that stuck w/o us thinking about it now are:

Wheat breads instead of white breads (same with pasta)
Brown rice instead of white rice
    Baking/grilling instead of frying
Water instead of pretty much anything else
    Itailian instead of ranch
    Egg whites instead of eggs
Applesauce instead of butter/oil (in baked goods)
1% milk instead of whole milk

For me it was my portions that had to be cut down, especially in the grain area. I found that trying some of these whole grains instead was better than just eating half the pasta, or half the rice I'm used too. The reason is they are a lot more dense and crunchy, takes longer to chew and you feel full faster. It's also fun to try new stuff. You can find any of these grains in the organic section, or at a Whole Foods type grocery.
    Whole grains:
    Amaranth
    Barley
    Brown rice
    Bulgur (cracked wheat)
    Couscous
    Flaxseed
    Millet
    Quinoa
    Rye
    Spelt
    Wheat berries
    Wild rice

You'll find it right in your local grocery store next to the other squashes and zucchini.... it's awesome plain, just sprinkled with a bit of parmesan cheese
