Changing Activity Levels?

Hi I am new and have a quick question.
If I set my personal settings as sedentary, but if I end up walking extra and want to change it to light activity level will this cause my calorie levels for the days previously to be changed, or will it only change that day's calorie limit?

I am keeping mine at sedentary ..just using that as a buffer on my rest days. Usually though I walk between 3 - 5 miles per day.0

You can keep it at sedentary, but eventually you will likely have to move up to lightly active. I know when I started exercising more and on a regular basis I plateaued and then gained due to lack of calories. Upping my activity level on the profile helped fix that. It all depends on what ends up working for you in the end.0
