entering recipes

When you're entering a recipe for 6 servings, if the entire recipe calls for 2 tbs of butter, do you enter 6 servings and 2 tbs of butter? Sometimes the database won't give you that option. Please help!

    when you add a recipe add the amount for the whole recipe...it automatically divides it into serving sizes

    So i'm entering a pasta recipe. I use a whole box. I enter 6 servings and then whole container? What if the database won't let you enter a certain measurement? Sorry for the stupid questions lol

    Just enter all the ingredients for the full recipe. When you enter the number of servings, MFP will automatically calculate both the calories for the entire recipe and per serving.

    If the database won't let you use your preferred measurement, then you have to convert it or make a new entry for that item.

    So i was doing it right. So when i enter it to my diary, i select 1 serving and it will convert the 6 servings to 1. Ok. Thanks
