Strength training

I have been on this journey for almost a year and I have been doing some cardio but I need to start some strength training. I do some when I go to the Y or Curves but I am looking for something to do at home when I don't get out. Where did you start? Any suggestions? I need all the help I can get!

    Book starting strength has a lot of good info on beginning Barbell lifts and illustrations
