What is a healthy body fat percentage?

I am curious, what is considered healthy as far as body fat? I got my body fat percentage taken yesterday, but i dont think it was very good. What are the ranges?

i thought that essential percentage is 5%-10%

Your gut may have less to do with fat than either bloating or muscle tone. Do you do ab exercises? Do you eat a lot of sodium?0

I do crossfit three times a week and do cardio 4 times a week. i think my gut may have to do with motherhood. or at least thats the excuse i'm going with. lol0 -

Competitive sports charts are more strict on what is considered athletic.0

I was watching a video on youtube of the All Blacks Rugby player Sonny Bill Williams. His stats are:
Height: 191cm (6ft 4)
Weight: 109kg (240lbs or 17st 2lbs)
Body Fat percentage: 6%
i thought 6% was supposed to be too low, but there we go. shows what i know. I'm aiming for 10%.0
