Chocolate Milk and Whey (premixing).

I hate coming up with a subject some times :)

I normally have some chocolate milk with some chocolate whey mixed in
every day as I need it.

What happens if I take the whey, mix it into my chocolate milk and save
it for the next day or two?

Has anybody done that? Any advantages / disadvantages of premixing
the milk and whey a few days before needing it?

  • Hi, I like my chocolate whey in milk too. My only problem is that I try to take it within 30 minutes after my workout but drinking milk when i'm hot or after I workout makes me feel naseaus. I don't like it with water though. Is there an alternative?

think you should drink the whey a couple of minutes after mixing it...or it starts to lose its effectiveness...and starts to break down.

Do you buy plain whey protein and mix it with chocolate milkshake? be better off buyin a flavoured one I think as - it'll contain less fat and calories? (I may be wrong as don't know exactly what your mixing) protein shakes do taste pretty bad mind.... probably better for you with water though. I jsut bought some Maximuscle Promax diet - (3 tubs for £99 - direct from maximuscle) doesn't taste too bad - but also has ingredients to help metabolism - balanced carbs n protein that help sustain muscle....might be worth a look....

just my opinion - I may be whey off (get it ...lol) - sorry bad joke....

Yeah, thats what I was wondering, if the effectiveness starts to break down.

I just buy the chocolate powder (I think its Star Fortress from Wal Mart) and put that in my
    chocolate milk.

I've tried the whey just in water, didn't like it.
