Went to boots my local chemist this morning to weight myself to see what my body fat is, when I stood on them they said I'm 6lb lighter than the ones I use at my local slimming world group, I only go to slimming world local weight loss group because i have paid for 6 weeks in advance so when it finishes I will leave, anyway back to the point which ones would be right?

As long as you use the same scales at the same time of day you'll see whether you are losing, what you weigh at any particular moment can vary so much its not that important.

To be honest - it doesn't really matter.

If you use the same scales, on a hard surface for each weighing you can accurately follow the trend.

The only way to know if scales are accurate to put a known weight on them (like a 1kg weight) but even then not all kilos were created the same! ;-)

you could weigh on four or five scales one after another and they'd more than likely weigh you with 2 -5 pound range. The important thing is to weigh on the excat same scale at the same time of day to get the closest accurate results.. For instance I weigh every morning, naked, with the same scale in the same spot.

Think I'll weigh on the ones in boots from now on they make me 6lb lighter which is so much better, makes me closer to my target :-)
