Does anyone have any strength training exercises I can do with free weights?

"Google" it... there are TONS out there. Shape magazine has some great workouts on their site.0

Check out "Stating Strength" (use Google or buy the book), or Stronglifts 5x5.0

Check out Jefit (jefit.com) there is a app or website for it. Gives you routines, or lets you set up a routine of your own. Last night I did a 60 minute circuit using one of the routines0

You change the vid to female at the top and I changed some of the exercises but it does give alternates on each page

The main ones: squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press.
Follow a proven program like Starting Strength. It's a more efficient use of your time than doing things willy nilly.0 -
Best advice I can give is to ask someone who lifts weights regularly (or a trainer) to help get you started.
Two reasons for this -
1. You learn proper form and reduce the chance of injury
2. You learn the proper intensity. This is really important as I see so many people lifting too low of weights, taking too long between sets. On the flip side see people lifting far too heavy and using horrid form.
As far as programs - Body for Life is good for weight lifting and has a good pyramid/super set routine for beginners.
The first 6 months of starting a free weights program is where you can make the biggest gains so really focus on being consistent and intensity.0 -
