Park the car further from the front door of the store each time I go. Any suggestions?

I've been doing that, lately. I park as far back as I can. The kids love it, too. I find that it not only gets me walking a bit more, but the kids have a little extra time to get their behavior under control before going in the store lol.

I also go in the opposite door. Like at Walmart, I park at the back of the row closest to the closest door, but walk to the opposite door, then I leave out the farthest door, too.... kinda dumb, but eh

I am kind of spoiling my man, too... When he finishes eating, I jump up to take the dishes to the sink, get him water or pop when he wants it, and just overall volunteer to do anything that gets me up and moving.

I have been cleaning a lot more, too. I used to stack up the dishes until the end of the day, or sometimes for 2 days before washing them, but now I wash dishes after each meal. I've also been wiping down the counters, cupboards and sweeping and taking the swiffer to the floor one to two times a day. I feel so much better when I'm doing these things!

I don't think of it as cleaning etc. I've come to think of these things as "bonus" opportunities to burn a few cals. I don't log them, though unless it's super heavy cleaning, scrubbing walls etc, so at the end of the week, I get a little surprise on the scale :)

Take the stairs every chance I get.

If I have 3-5 minutes I walk somewhere rather than wasting the time.

Pushups in the shower (don't ask!)

Stand at my computer and do squats while I log food.

Stairs. And every exercise I ask my patients to do, I do with them.
