So since I've been on here for the past 5 days I've noticed that ALOT of o 0lder men have been messaging me asking me out of the way questions. Ladies of all ages but especially younger girls, it is always nice to get compliments but be careful. Some of these men strike me as the type of guy to get a girl when she's down. They prey on women with low self esteem and what better way to meet their "prey" than a weight loss sight where most women are self conscious. But then here comes old prince charming to save the day. It's disgusting. Just be careful about who you talk too.

    Well, anyone would common sense would think the same. Unfortunately, many people these days severely lack common sense. Some women love the attention no matter who it's from.

    Where are all these alleged creeper guys? I've heard the same thing from girls I've friended on MFP, but have never actually come across one. I thought most girls were just exaggerating about it...

    Not all of those men have pervy intentions.

    I get messages all the time, and it's normally just them being friendly, and talking about fitness and workouts. I'm very careful, and I know when to ignore but I have had yet to block someone.

    I've been on MFP before for much longer but some stuff I've recently seen with a younger woman and older man is sickening and she actually believes he just wants to be friends.....saying things like"i may have to get fresh with you" is not just being friendly.The smerky attitude was uncalled for by the way. I'm just reminding some women what some of these guys or womens intentions are. Some people are blind to everything when they have lowself esteem.

    As long as all parties are over the age of consent it is nothing to be overreacting about. I would think these girls know how to ignore creepy advances or know how to use the block function

    I don't think they're pervy or creepy so much as sadly delusional.

    I've never met a young woman who was just really into much older men for the hell of it. They always have some kind of weird codependency issue. Or white knight delusion. None of my friends sit around and talk about how they wish they could get a hot piece of geriatric grandpa tail.

    Most of the people who have added me have been very nice.
