I'm the opposite: when I drink plain tea, my hunger pains are satisfied, whereas 5 minutes after a black espresso I have the most horrible chocolate/sweet food cravings :S
I guess it also depends on the quantity: a huge mug of tea is different than a small cup of coffee..that's why I still feel hungry.
However if you have a huge cup of coffee you may feel full after it0 -
I dunno. I don't drink coffee and tea curbs my hunger.0

I thought coffee triggered a fast dumping of useable sugar into your bloodstream (i.e. it metabolizes fat). Tea doesn't. It's short term - coffee doesn't make you thin. But the higher sugar tells your brain you don't need to eat.0

Maybe try making the coffee sweeter with a stevia sweetener product. I have a coffee in the afternoon (instead of wine before dinner) and put 2 or 3 stevia's and half and half in it and it is very satisfying and it seems to curb my hunger.0
