It's never too much if you are eating enough to support it and it isn't interfering with the rest of your life.

I had a friend who got addicted to exercise like other people get addicted to food or who get an eating disorder. It was not good. If you are serious worried, look at the kinds of checklists have for other addictions - the drinking ones are easy to find on the web. The same kinds of things would apply to working out.

Just continue your usual work out but make sure stretch afterwards and rest.

Make sure you hydrate adequately, feed your hardworking body adequately and rest adequately. If one of these things is lacking, you'll burn out quickly.

People say that you'll be fine as long as you eat enough, but it isn't good for your body to workout intensely for more than 2 hours a day. It can lead to a lot of health issues like bone and muscle injuries, sleep problems, etc.

If you feel like you need an ambulance, you've done too much.

Too much exercise can cause injury so just make sure you're listening to your body and not pushing yourself more than you should. It's helpful to take at least one rest day a week.

Depends on what you do....cardio is fine everyday. But if you do strangth training as well some rest days would be good.

Thank you everyone for your responses.... I work from home so I incorporate a lot of 10 minute workouts into my day as well as an early morning workout the I have a lot of calories left per MFP...
  • I think your body is a great indicator of that. I usually can tell when I am doing too much and need rest. I can also tell when I have not moved enough and need more fresh air and exercise.
