Where did my motivation go?!

Ugh. I went on vacation, completely fell off the wagon (no logging, eating whatever, not working out) and gained about 5 pounds. No biggie, right?

Except that I've been back and logging for weeks now and my weight just won't budge. :huh: It's getting me a little depressed. I'm trying, and you'd think by now I'd be down a pound at least, but after almost a month of being back on the bandwagon, nothin'. ~sigh~ I know I need to make better food choices (my choices lately have sucked) but a calorie ought to be a calorie, so keeping them low should have me losing weight, even if it is really slowly. Grrr... :angry:

So any words of advice or encouragement would be much appreciated!

    Gracie, you know that weight loss isn't always going to go to plan. Be kind to yourself!! You're back now and it'll start melting off, just like it did before. Just personal experience.....but my weight has a kind of cycle.......down, same, same, same, down (BIG), down (little), same, same, same......it'll start moving again, I BELIEVE in you ;):flowerforyou:

    And anyway, don't leave me here with all these crazy people alone :bigsmile:

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who hits a flat spot at times. It was just depressing as heck to realize I'd backtracked months and wasn't making any progress at all lately. :grumble: Anyways, all I can do is just keep on keepin' on, I suppose. The alternative would be me right back where I was...and it wasn't pretty. :laugh:

    And no, I won't leave you - I'm pretty sure I'm part of the crazy crowd you hang with, though. :wink:
