I've hit a road block. Last week I did terrible and gained a pound, this week hasn't started off any better. It's like I'm halfway there and just stopped.
In need of some ideas to get the will power back!

Why did you start in the first place?? Remind yourself why and don't make any excuses. No one can hold your hand and make you walk/run/lift/swim/etc - but we can be here to cheer you on!!!
You've lost 26lbs. That is an amazing accomplishment and you should be proud. Now take that and press forward. Exercise a litte more, eat a little cleaner and realize that there are going to be ups and downs but you must press forward!
Congrats on your loss - now.....go for a walk.0 -
YOU CAN DO THIS GIRLIE!
I have lost 26 pounds since 8/8. My inspirations in this journey are- I don't have to shop in the PLUS size section anymore AND I no longer take blood pressure meds as of two weeks ago. YIPPIE! It also increases sex drive, makes you feel more attractive and therefore you are more confident...There really are no bad things about losing the weight that I can think of...0 -
Thanks you guys! Yea i gotta get it together and get back in it! And sex is probably a great motivation! i started bc i was surprised at how much i gained and i want to be healthy.
When you felt like quitting, what kept you going?0 -
In 2009 I lost my first 50 and right now I'm down 60. My goal ultimately is to be down 80. It's been the longest and hardest journey. It sucks how easy it is to forget how heavy you were. I'm really glad I have my measurements from when I was my heaviest, it's really helped occassionally. Honestly, I need the same help you do. I've gotten into great shape doing MaxWorkouts and Bodyrock.tv, better shape than when I was in high school. I just need help controlling my eating. Some days, I wonder how I ever managed to lose and keep off what I have. One thing that has helped me is trying to remember that there is going to be mistakes and there is always another chance to go at it again. AND having someone to talk to about it that is real about it helps tons too. Maybe we can be real buddies?0
