Dating Dilemnia

Sooo...I got asked by a guy I met at my gym today. Coincidentally he is the same guy my friend has a crush. I had no idea who he was prior to meeting him. However, I put 2+2 together while talking to him, and now I have no clue what to do. We exchanged numbers, and I don't know if anything will happen, if anything. I actually told my friend afterwards, but I am not sure she will be thrilled if I actually date him. . What shall a girl do?

You gotta leave that one alone. Technically you aren't doing anything wrong by dating him. But that is likely to bring bad karma with the friend.

I think I would have to put my friends feelings first. You didn't even know who he was, so its no loss to you if you don't go out with him.

If your friend is crushing on the guy, you have to ask yourself: do I want to maintain the friendship? If yes, then dating the guy is out of the question... but let your friend know she needs to get busy or the guy won't be on the market long as he is looking around already, including in your direction.

Does your friend have any kind of friendship/relationship anything with him, or is he just a hot guy she's seen from afar and admires? If it's the latter and you like him, I say go for it. You're 25, I would say you and your friend are old enough to be mature about this if it's just a mild crush thing.

Yeah, they work at the same hospital, and she saw him like 3 times in passing. She said he doesn't even know who she is. I kind of agree with what you are saying. I rarely can get a date since I am MIA most of the time, and it would be frustrating to not see if there is any possibility there. I don't know! I'm actually just shocked someone asked me out at the gym..lol. I have another gym crush, so this was unexpected. HA
