Been falling off the wagon

I joined five weeks ago and I was so surprised at how easy it was to lose seven pounds in that time.

I thought:"This is so easy? Who thought this stuff was hard? Why does everyone make a big deal of it?"

And now there's me now. Somehow I hit a snag. I started getting REALLY hungry, so I started falling off the wagon. Someone on here suggested that my goal was too aggressive and that I should change to .5lbs a week. I did that, but I still feel REALLY hungry.

And to be honest, I did feel hungry (though not ravenous) in my first five weeks as well, but somehow - maybe because I did so well starting off - it's hard for me to maintain such vigilance.

I really want to make this work! Help! Suggestions!

Add 100 calories every week until you stop losing, then back it down so you lose .5-1lb a week
  • Take a close look at WHAT you're eating. Are you eating enough protein? I've found thru trial and error in many struggles with the scale that if I don't eat some sort of protein with every meal, then I'm really.. really hungry in between meals. Don't know if that will work for you but it has helped me. Hang in there and keep trying until you find what works for you! :flowerforyou:

Okay, I'll try more protein and see how that works.

I didn't log what I ate yesterday, because it's too embarrassing! Let's just say a whole fried fish, and a bunch of fries with too much salt!

Ohhh, I love salt so much and I've been trying to cut back which has been tough for me. BUT as soon as I did it, 2 lbs came off immediately.

Maybe I'm just trying to do it too quickly?
