    Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MFP is awesome!!

    Thanks goblynn!!!!

    For those that are curious, I'm white collar, I travel a lot for work, I sing in a cover band, I'm 42, I weigh 271.5 (as of yesterday) and would love to get in the low 200's, and I've rebelled against fitness for far too long to spite my ex-wife... which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, I know, but I've finally come to that realization.

    I'm hoping having a community of online friends will help - especially on those days where I'm working from home and can actually monitor a message board.

    I will be updating and logging daily. If you are too... ADD ME!

    I used to sing in a cover band, about 20 years ago, still have my guitar and equipment, hopefully handing it down to my son. He's 5, but loves to play my guitar. Had the mullet too... lol..

    I log in every day, 165 days in a row or something like that...

    I am slightly jealous! I know "days in a row" aren't the end-all, be-all... But I really hope to get to 60. I started here right before a cross country move. I was SO BUMMED to miss one day and get sent back to ZERO.

    Hi!
    I'm almost 41. Haven't weighed myself in over a month (we are moving and our stuff is still in storage)

    I have no job. I am a mom. I home school my boys. Which is a job, I guess, but I don't get "quiet out of the house time" as often as I'd like and I don't get paid in money.

    Nor, do I sing.
    ::sigh::

    I don't care about the number too much, but for me it shows that I don't miss a day and that I can really do this. :)

    And I wouldn't worry about missing a day, as long as you know that you are doing it. There are going to be things that come up to get in the way, but it's knowing how to get back on track.

    It's not for everyone. And some of us aren't nearly as good as we think we are. Haha!!!
