if you have sore muscles from a workout should you do the same workout (at a lesser level maybe) again the next day or a different workout to work different muscles?

If I'm really sore I like to go for a nice jog to get rid of it the following day then go back to the workout the next day after that0

I like to challenge myself a lot so I'm sore a lot of the times. I'm going to echo my girl Abells, and say go for a nice run to get the blood flowing, then make sure you stretch (really well), get in a good amount of protein, and hit it hard again the next day.
Have fun!0 -
I like that idea. And definately agree with the protein sugesstion. Thanks.0

I do a 30 minute fast workout on the treadmill every day, but only lift weights every second day. I always give my muscles a day of rest in between or I work on upper body one day and lower body the next.0

Are you sore from weights or something cardio related? I don't train the same muscle group with weights on back to back days - sore or not. Running soreness I'll do an easy effort run, but no speedwork and no driving up hills.0

I have done the Bob Harper Cardio Conditioning workout for the last 2 mornings. It is weighted cardio, lots of squats and jumping. My legs are killing me!! I think I will alternate his workout from now on. No more back to back days.0

I get crippling muscle pains after a decent weights/cardio workout so I alternate between killer workout with yoga at the end and just yoga days.0
