Hi All,

My name is Dave and I love food!! Weighing in at 322 this is my first week on MFP and I like what I see and think this is a great tool to help me lose the 100 punds I would like.

I found MFP the most important part for me. You just need to be diligent in logging EVERYTHING you eat and try to stick to your goals.

Thanks All. I appreciate the warm welcome and advice.

After the second day my 10 year old daughter patted me on the tummy and said "I think you lost a couple of punds Daddy."

I kind of surprised myself when I added the pop tarts the other night! It really helped though as I looked at the carbs and sugars and said "Oh ****". You just don't realize what you are shoveling in your mouth so I agree adding everything and being honest to yourself is the best way to go.
