<---- and I also have a brass knuckle right over my heart.. bad decision. I'm going to get it covered when I get the extra money.

    love all the tattos!!
  • Funny story about this tattoo... I wanted a phoenix as soon as I turned 18, so like and eighteen-year-old with very little cash to spend and very little insight about the permanency of tattoos, I picked on out on the internet. Shortly after getting this not-so-great design between my shoulder blades from a crappy tattoo artist who left scars on my back, I gained a bunch of weight. About a year later when I was 19, I decided I wanted it bigger & prettier so I had an artist sketch out this really nice design to work around the tattoo I had and it was pretty good so I scheduled an appointment for the next day. Something apparently happened between the time I left the shop and the time I came back because the guy who sketched the design walked out & quit that day & the design was nowhere to be found. Obviously I should have left, but like any excited nineteen-year-old with still very little insight about the permanency of tattoos, I stayed and let a different artist free-hand a design on my back (which I thought I got a good look at). This isn't a very good picture of the tattoo, but it's all I could find on my computer. I'm not going to say what I think the bottom part (tail feathers) look like, but I'll let you decide for yourself. I haven't gotten any tattoos since. Not that I wouldn't like to, but I have a lot more bills than I did at that age (and still not much more money).
