Well I really started to keep track last Friday and I was feeling good only took me two days to stop wanting the junk and to remember my love of healthy food, Then i went out with my aunt who I hadnt seen since the start of the summer and she said it looked like i lost some weight so i was feeling pretty good! Then this morning i went to breakfast with two of my cousins and they were both talking about needing to lose weight, and then mentioned my need to lose weight and how much ive gained in the last couple of months...I know its good to have honest people in my life however i know the last time she saw me i was 10lbs heavier because it was the day i realized how much i had gained...So i know it shouldnt matter but part of me feels like they just wanted to be mean ( they are both about 8 inches shorter then me and both weight at least 10lbs more) but still it just hurt my feelings and made me think gosh ive been working really hard this summer and i look bigger?!

Family can be cruel at times when they think they are being helpful. Just get back to work. The only opinion that matters when it comes to your weight and what you look like is your own. You are the only one that matters when it comes to your weight loss. Keep going for your workouts and eating the right things and you will feel better.0

Ugh indeed~ My uncle was the one who decided to point out the weight I'd put on in college, the big jerk. But my little German grandmom commented after his joke saying, "You put on weight in school, huh? You look good! You've got lovely hips now!" Totally cheered me up and reminded me to find positive features and to love my body through its ups and downs. =] So don't worry too much about other people's comments, family or otherwise; focus on how you feel in your own skin and on the habits you pick up that help take your body in the direction you want.0
