What degrees do the folks of MFP hold?

depends on how much weight you have lost. The more weight you lose the more degrees some think they have.

There is a guy here who has lost a lot of weight and suddenly he is not only a rocket scientist but also the greatest psychologist since Pluto or whatever his name is.

LOL! Not to be a jerk, I just can't resist replying.

Plato. Pluto is a minor planet or Mickey Mouse's dog, your choice. Plato was a greek philosopher, not a psycholgist.

Do I get an extra degree now, perhaps in rocket science?

BSCE (Bachelors of Science, Civil Engeering)

I should add, now that I have my degree, I don't do anything with it. I practiced engineering for seven years and realized I hated it. Now I've been doing mostly data analysis and reporting.

I am finishing my BS in Public History. BS is odd, but that's what happens when you go from Computer Science to History! And it only took me 20 years to complete this one!

This is what I wanted to do but I changed my mind at the last minute and did teaching because the college was in the Lake District! On the plus side I've never been out of a job!

I left that field in '95, although I did do some adjunct teaching for the local university from 2005 - 2007 or so.

BSc (hons) in Information Technology - one of the first in the country. I graduated the year Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web

More recently I took a post-graduate certificate in journalism.

 I know exactly who you're talking about!

I'm looking into a possible Astronomy-Physics double major and going for a bachelors or something in that ballpark. Anyone with that sort of degree?

I probably won't end up anywhere near those degrees, but a girl can dream.
