I say "keep calm and chive on"! Maybe look at the place's menu ahead of time and pick something decent. But it happens. Don't beat yourself up!0

Try to pick something healthy off the menu at the place tonight.
We all have bad days. Tomorrow is a new good day. Don't worry about it.0 -
eat something healthy like a salad or soup or you can eat protein that always help dont sweat it tommorow is another day!!! smile0

We all mess up at one time or another. It will be okay. Like the others said, just move forward and pick the healthiest tonight for dinner. If you haven't walked yet today, do so and make sure to drink your water. Enjoy your dinner tonight:-)0

We all do things like that, just take a look and choose the best things you can off the menu. Tomorrow is a new day and you can start afresh0

If you go over today it's very easy to just eat a little less for a few days to make it up - I do it all the time. As long as you are averaging what you need to over the week / month you will be fine. Take a breath..one big dinner won't cause you to gain weight in the long run.
Try your best to make good choices but don't panic if you don't manage - eat, have fun and enjoy your time with your dad!0 -
Aw don't feel too bad! I messed up today, the day before and the day before that! I'm not giving up though:) we all make mistakes (some more than others in my caseXD) but that doesn't mean we should give up and stop trying. You CAN do this! Try and pick something healthy off the menu, and maybe only eat 1/2-3/4 of it rather than all of it. Pack the rest up for later-lunch tomorrow maybe? Good luck!0

according to your diary, you have 650 calories left, with a bit of exercise or by just making a wise selection or eating a half portion (most portions are too large when you eat out anyway) you should be more than fine.0

I would just document everything I ate and move on to tomorrow. I find the day after I go over my calorie limit I'm not very hungry and eat less. Even Steven! It all works out.
You could also do an extra workout before dinner. Exercise kills my appatite and the extra calories you burn will offset some extra that you take in.
Bottom line. Don't worry about one day.0
