Ugh! Over in Protein by 27 and I still have to eat 450 calories what can I have that has little to no protein?

  • Realistically, unless you are in renal failure, there is no reason to limit your protein intake to ONLY 15 percent of your daily calories. Don't sweat it and eat what you normally would.
  • MFP puts it a bit low for proteins, with Bank's advice I upped mine to 25%, but I think the with my training schedule I could even bring it up to 30%!!

I really don't worry about the protein. It's the carbs that I worry about. When I do good with protein I'm usually good with carbs. It's when I go over in my carbs is when I've been eating junk ie, pretzals, chips, etc.
  • i find I am always over in protein too but I lift weights so that is not a problem for me. A suggestion if you need more calories would be salad ..no too much protein in that
or vegtable like cucumber or broccoli

Half a PB&J! On whole wheat bread!!! Or spread on ghrahm crackers.

    100 cal yogurt, and fruit.

    granola bar and skim milk

    Omlet w/ 1 egg, 2 whites, tst.

Those are all things I eat as snacks or fillers. The have a hihger cal content, good fats, and complex carbs
