Are there any workout DVD's that are good for lifting/toning? I've been doing cardio or turbo fire for awhile and getting kinda bored with that 4/5 times a week. I'm thinking of switching every other day with a different DVD or lifting weights at home. I feel like my body doesn't look any different when I lose some weight (only have 9 ls to reach my goal weight) and I want to gain a little bit of muscle. Help! What else can I do? I miss body pump at the Y but I won't be back as a member until November.

Slim in 6 is a really good toning dvd. Debbie Seibers is also part of the BeachBody team (like turbofire). It was actually my starter dvd, but I go back to it quite often because I can always feel (and see) it working. There isn't a ton of cardio to it either.

If you like Chalene, she has another workout program called Chalean Extreme which emphasizes heavier lifting. There is a hybrid calendar for Turbo Fire that I'm getting ready to start soon.

My favorite toning DVD is Jillian Michaels' No More Trouble Zones.

    Excellent!

I have a vacation trip coming up in the next couple of weeks, so I am going to keep on with the TJ until I get back. I think I'm going to just hop right into the TF/CLX hybrid when I get home. Haven't tried TF yet, so everything will be new to me. Who knows... it might actually be easier for you since you're used to TF and would just be adding CLX.

I did order these dumbbells and am excited to get to finally use them:

ETA: If you need the hybrid workout calendar, let me know and I'll shoot you a copy.
