Best Group on MFP for the big guys

The legends of old tell of a race of giants. Men of great power, strength, stamina, and stunning good looks that used to roam the countryside looting and pillaging all who stood before them.

Villagers cowered in fear and hid their women, their beer, and their bacon. It was to no avail however. The great warriors came forth and in their fury lay waste to all before them.

Unfortunately, along the way, the warriors began to realize that all of the beer, beef, and broads was beginning to show. It soon became obvious that the only thing that surpassed their power was their own waistlines. It was at that point, after a bad night with some cheap beer that I had a vision.

In my sleep I saw The Hat. The noble chapeau made from the finest cookie monster pelts, and the horns of the fabled Bedrock Water Buffalo. It was a symbol. An icon to the giants that still roamed the land. A beacon that draws us together and binds us.

It was on that day in the winter of 2012 that The Royal Order of Middle Aged Fat Men was born from the fires of Kingsford along the river Bud.
