Runners? music help please

Ok so I need a few new songs for my playlist. They MUST have a beat that's fast enough to keep me going fast. Keep in mind I am a 37yo female who is ok with some swearing in the songs as ling as it's not the whole song. The songs I have at the moment (just so there is no double up & you can see my range of taste) are:

B.O.B feat Hayley Williams - Airplanes
Carly Rae Jaspen - Call me maybe
Backstreet Boys - Everybody
Backstreet Boys - We've got it going on
Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow
Dannii MInogue - I begin to wonder (yep a little slower but good to end with)
Pink - Funhouse
Bon Jovi - Have a nice day
JLo - Let's get loud
JLo - On the floor
JLo - Do it well
Minecraft Creeper song (youtube one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPJUBQd-PNM )
Maroon 5 Ft Christina Aguilera - Moves like Jagger
Britney Spears - Piece of me
LMFAO - Sexy & I know it
LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
Kelly Clarkson - Since you been gone
Styles & Breeze - You're shining
Daler Mehndi - Tunak Tunak Tun (yeah yeah I know but it's fast & is a great one to workout to & dance to lol)
Vanessa Amorosi - This is who I am
Ne-Yo - Beautiful Monster
Justin Timberlake - What goes around/Comes around
Katy Perry - Teenage dream
Ke$ha - Take it off
PSY - Gangham Style (yep I'm one of those crazy ones who LOVES this song)
Steppenwolf - Born to be wild
The Vogues - Five O'clock World
Adam Lambert - If I had you
Adam Lambert - Whataya want from me
Madonna - Burning up
Yolanda Be Cool Vrs DCup - We No Speak Americano
Kaoma - The Lambada

Ok so that's my list, in order they are on my phone but I have it on shuffle. I'm desperate to add to it cause there is only so many times you can use the same songs to motivate. But I'm stuck. You know my range.... it's all over the place. I hate HATE dubstep, I hate hate hate rap.... to a point.

Usually gets me through a session successfully!
  • It's not got an ultra-fast beat but I noticed yesterday that Life is Life by Noah and the Whale is a good motivational song - upbeat, and it's about a guy who decides to make a positive change and turn his life around, like a lot of people on here are doing :)

Unfortunately I can't help much more - my tastes are more along the lines of Prog Rock, which is known for its shifting themes, experimentation and 30-minute rock symphonies. Awesome music, but terrible for running :P

I can't listen to anything like that while my other app is running. It wont allow me to choose anything other than my normal music :(

you can download reasonable playlists from podrunner on iTunes ... generic stuff, but good for bmp control.

Most AC/DC tracks do the trick for me, and Blink 182 - Whats my age again, oddly enough Abba also tends to have the same beat :)

I run to the beat so here is my 8 minute mile list.

    Kick It Out - Heart
    Monkey Wrench - Foo Fighters
Message In A Bottle - Police
Livin La Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
    Turning Japanese - The Vapors
She's My Man - Scissor Sisters
    Chattahoochee - Alan Jackson

That should give you a 10K no problem.

    For a little slower pace:
Are You Gonna Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz
Black Hearts On Fire - Jet
    Magic Carpet Ride - Steppinwolf
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Runnin' Down A Dream - Tom Petty
    Breakdown - Tom Petty
Rain on the Scarecrow - John Cougar

    That's my 30 minute 5K list.

And my finisher for all runs:
    Summer Song - Satriani

I think we have similar taste! A few other of my favourites for running:

David Guetta ft Kelly Rowland - When love takes over
    David Guetta - Titanium
    Nadia Ali - Rapture
    Stonebridge - Put en High
Rhianna ft Calvin Harris - We found love

When I am in a rockier mood:
    Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
    Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary
    Metallica - Enter Sandman
Manic Street Preachers - You Love Us

    Hope this helps!
