I'm not sure if there's a name for it, but just eating raw fruits and veggies. no cooking or anything. Been thinking about trying it, and I know there would be some nice results, but was wondering if anyone has tried eating like that.

Do you mean raw vegan?0

There are people who eat only raw food, but it also includes things like nuts and raw cocoa, so you get protein. If you google 'raw food diet', you'll find info on it. Eating purely fruits and veg wouldn't be sustainable, but you can do it for a short period of time, and it can have good health results.0

I ate a raw diet for 5 years and had no problems with it. You get to try a lot more food and ways of making it. I would say give it a go for a week and see how you feel.
I am now a vegan, and have been for over 15 years.0 -
I've not tried it myself, but what's wrong with working out 5-7 days days a week doing resistance training and cardio, combined with good nutrition and patience?
Eating raw fruits and veggies (which will give a lack of protein anyway) isn't the only way to get good results.0 -

The fact that someone is thinking of trying a different lifestyle from yours doesn't automatically mean they think something is wrong with yours. There are many different lifestyles people can have and be healthy.0 -
I ate too many raw foods last week and was so so poorly, I really thought I needed to go to hospital !0

is that what it's called? vegan? thanks for the input. I'll look it up and give it a go. I know that cooking most veggies you lose a lot of the nutriants, or so I've read. either way, it'd be a nice change. Thanks everyone0

Raw vegan, not just vegan. Vegan means not eating any animal products, raw vegan means eating no animal products and nothing cooked over a certain temperature.
Do you have Pinterest? There are lots of yummy looking raw recipes on there.0 -

So just to understand this correctly, are you going to do this because you're worried about your current nutrient sufficiency?0 -

Curious what "nice results" you are expecting?0
