Does you Employer help?

So my company is doing this fitness challenge at work called : WalkingWorks. Technically I suppose it is put on by BlueCross / Blueshield, but the company is pushing it and making a little contest between our departments to see who would step up the most.

Before our offices were bought out a couple years ago, our former employer would reimburse 50% of your membership fee at an "established" fitness facility like they YMCA ( I wish the new company would do this ).

What sort of things does the other employers out there do for you?

I work for a dental office, so not alot of employees. BUT the Dr I work for has a workout room upstairs w/a treadmill, elliptical, power blocks, TV & DVD player. I have been going in before work & working out, showering. Its so convenient!

I am very fortunate in that my company has a BEAUTIFUL fitness center on site. Open 24/7, staffed with qualified trainers from 6AM-9PM. Great classes, great equipment. The company also has an onsite nurse, wellness programs, fun fitness contests - all kinds of stuff.
So, on days when I am really cranky about my job... I DO have to remind myself that there are some pretty sweet benefits here.

I am lucky to get paid lol. Our work offers nothing...but my Husbands work paid $300 toward our new recumbent bike! They offered for this year -a choice of $300 toward equipment, a gym member ship for 2 for a year or classes like weight watchers...
