I used to make tortilla pizzas all the time... Basically just get a tortilla wrap, add tomato purée and whatever toppings you want, put it under the grill...and wallah!

I now make a basic scone recipe, roll it out as a pizza base and add my own toppings. Yummy and easy.

I use a whole wheat pita as the crust (120 calories) and add sauce, green peppers and mushrooms, lowfat cheese and a bit of fat free ham. Another good one is bbq sauce, lowfat cheese, diced chicken, red peppers/onions/tomato. Both are under 350 calories and very satisfying

At Walmart you can buy whole wheat pizza crust.... you can use regular sauce, alfredo, evoo, or whatever you'd like for the sauce. I prefer alfredo because if you measure it out, it's not very high in calories for one portion spread over the whole pizza and it gives it a great flavor. Then I just load it with veggies. peppers, tomatoes, onions, olives, mushrooms, whatever you fancy. If just veggies isn't enough, you can fry up some turkey bacon or turkey burger and sprinkle it on there. Or I suppose you could even do just the meat, no veggies. Then I top it lightly with lowfat mozerella cheeze. honestly, the cheese is where most of the calories are going to come from. I calculated it up and it came to about 110 calories per slice with a light amount of cheese.

Or for a breakfast pizza, scramble some egg whites , turkey bacon,, and cheese. peppers/onions if youd like

Check out the cauliflower pizza crust. It sounds weird but it is brilliant. Tasty, low cal and low in carbs.

  • I use flat bread with flax seed fom Costco, tomato sauce, fat free cheese and whatever topping (veggie) I have in the fridge. Cooks in the toaster oven for 15 -20 minutes. It's about 220 calories. The flat bread came with some recipes too. Low fat/calories and tastes Delish.

use a tortilla for the crust. You can find smaller ones for like 60 calories, or you can make small corn ones which are like 40 a piece. There are low carb ones and 100 calorie big ones (i think La Tortilla Factory and xtreme wellness make low cal ones). Then sub in canned or sliced tomatoes for the sauce, either skip the cheese or use half and then try maybe nonfat cottage or ricotta cheese, and load up on veggies.

I use 1 loaf of pita bread, topped with 1 tbsp of pizza sauce (or spaghetti sauce), 1 oz of part skim mozzarella, 1 oz of pineapple tidbits, and 1 oz of diced ham. Bake until cheese is melted.
