What is a good way to increase your stamina? recently i was playing catching with some 5-year old kids at the playground and i was so embarrassed when i became their easiest target. i am also in a sports cca (co curriculum activity) and is also one of the slowest runners there, thus became a reserve.
Help? any tips? advice? and maybe an exercise routine that can increase my stamina? how many minutes/hours do you spend running per day/week? o(╥﹏╥)o

The way I did it was to walk for five minutes then run for one, repeat for half an hour, a few times a week. Next week, walk for four minutes and run for one. Then three minutes and run for one. Then two minutes and run for one. The week after, walk for two minutes then run for two minutes. Week after, walk for two minutes run for three minutes, carry on until you feel that you could carry on running, and then each time you run just try to increase it by one minute more than the last time. Using tip technique I increased my running time from 15 seconds to an hour! :-)0

I saw them doing the marathon on the biggest loser and it made me realise that I was using my weight as an excuse not to learn how to job - if they can do it, so can I. Plus, it's an amazing feeling to accomplish something that seemed so impossible. Now I'm at the point where I love it and I get such a buzz off it. Hang in there, it's really worth it.0

HIIT!!! That will increase your stamina for sure!! I am doing Insanity. I did Chalean Extreme 90 days ago. When I started I could not run for more than 3 minutes. Now I can run a 5k no problem. I would like to do a Marathon soon and I know Insanity will get me there.0

Couch to 5k, best thing I know if you really want to increase your stamina and lung capacity. Plus, by the end, you will love running, guarantee that.0 -
