24 lbs gone - pics and measurements

Hi Everyone, just wanted share my small success story with you guys, might not seem like much compared to a lot of the other amazing stories on here but I am so proud of myself at how far I have come in such little time! I started living healthy in the middle of March 2012, at a weight of 182 lbs (height of 5'9''). I lost 8 lbs on my own and then I joined MFP at 174 lbs on May 14, 2012 and have lost 16 pounds since joining. I took measurements the first day I joined MFP and did not take new ones until today and I am SO happy with the results:
BEFORE
Measurements - May 14, 2012
Weight: 174 lbs
Thigh: 60.5 cm
Bicep: 32.5 cm
Calf: 41 cm
Bust: 90 cm
Waist: 85.5 cm
Stomach: 95 cm
Abdomen: 93 cm
Butt: 109 cm
AFTER
Measurements - September 23, 2012
Weight: 158 lbs
Thigh: 58.5 cm (2 cm loss)
Bicep: 30.5 cm (2 cm loss)
Calf: 39.5 cm (1.5 cm loss)
Bust: 88.5 cm (1.5 cm loss)
Waist: 79.5 cm (6 cm loss)
Stomach: 89.5 cm (5.5 cm loss)
Abdomen: 90.0 cm (3 cm loss)
Butt: 100.5 (8.5 cm loss) - kind of upset about this one lol
Hope this inspires some of you a little! No goal is too little... I would do this over a million times if I had to!! Set your goals and focus on them and if you put in the effort it will come with time. Feel free to add me because I am looking for more MFP friends! Would love to offer support to those who are willing to give it in return!

You DO look great! Congrats on your hard work! What are you doing? ...counting calories, exercise, etc. How many calories are you eating daily and what working out are you doing? I've lost 15lbs., but looking for any ideas! Thanks in advance! Again, congrats! You look amazing!0

Thank you all so much! and Yes, I've been counting calories and exercising (4-5 days a week for an hour, mainly doing zumba and bodypump classes!) I find lifting weights is what help changed my body dramatically and highly recommend it! For the first 10-12 pounds I was using what MFP recommended (1250 cals per day) then I came to a plateau for 3 weeks at 163 lbs and so I upped my calories to 1400 and got down to 158! Also, switching up your workout routine will help as well! Thanks for the support guys!0
