I have made this nearly every weekend for the last 4 weeks and it is amazing. At only 200 calories a serving you can't go wrong!!!
Ingredients
Jennie O - Ground Turkey, Lean 93/7 , 1 container
Virgin Olive Oil 1tbsp
Red Onion - Chopped, 1 cup
Homemade - Raw Green Peppers (Chopped) 1 cup
Great Value - Chili Beans W/Sauce, 1 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
Beans – black beans, canned, 1 cup
Hunt's - Tomatoes, Petite, Diced, Canned, 1 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
Garlic – minced 1 tsp
Salsa 1/2 cup
Spices - Chili powder, 2-3 tbsp
Generic - Ground Cumin, 1 Tablespoon
Spices - Paprika, 1 tbsp
Heinz - Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tbl
1) Combine canned ingredients and salsa into the crockpot.
2) Dice up onion and green pepper
3) Heat up tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and sauté onion, pepper and garlic until onions are soft
4) Pour vegetable mixture into crockpot
5) Brown the turkey and add all spices once browned
6) Combine turkey into the crockpot
7) Cook on low for 4-5 hours and enjoy!!!
8) This makes 8 servings (serving is 1 cup measured into a bowl and only 201 calories!!)
If you want more spice buy some salsa with Ghost Peppers or buy a few Jalapenos to dice up.
