What to do with RI30?

I started Ripped in 30 the other day. It did nothing for me. So should I do 10 days of level 2, level 3, and level 4 instead?
Or would that mess everything up? I also run for 30-45 minutes a day as well as core training every other day.

What do you mean that it did nothing for you? It wasn't challenging? You didn't break a sweat? It was too short?
I can't think of any workout DVD that I've done that didn't give me at least some benefit if I gave it my all. If it's too easy, push harder, grab heavier dumbells, squat deeper, jump higher, double-time the moves.
But skipping around to whichever level you want isn't going to mess anything up. When I did RI30, I think I did each level for one week, like 5 or 6 day of the 7 day week, with one day off. I also walked or ran every other day. I usually get bored trying to do a single workout for 30 days straight, so will mix it up with whatever level I feel like doing for the week, do it every other day, and either walk or run for cardio if I feel I need more, and do a different DVD on the other days.
Sounds like you are already doing something similar, so maybe just go all out on a level on the off days from your core training and see how it goes.0 -
I push hard and I'm not even winded. I'm wondering if it's because the length of cardio and strength aren't really long enough. Like 2 minutes of cardio isn't much. And I didn't really feel it in the abs at all. I mean I was out of breath while doing the cardio but as soon as I was done, I was fine... With 30DS, I felt like death after the first video.0

 I also felt like death after my first run through 30DS, but that was the first workout I had done in years! It nearly killed me and I had to take 3 days off from life in general afterward because it hurt to move.
Naturally I didn't feel that way after Ripped because I started it after I had been working out for some time. Maybe try a different level? I haven't done Ripped in awhile, but I remember some weeks int he program being more difficult than others for me. Some might be more ab focused, others more arm focused..or maybe it just seemed that way to me when certain moves hit me in my weakest areas.
I wouldn't give up on it yet though - I like Ripped better than 30DS.0 -
Push harder, you only get out of it what you put in. I would seriously continue with week 1 for 10 days ect. Get heavier weights too and make sure your doing everything correctly. I've done the 30ds and ri30 (twice) I also like ri30 better.0
