My favorite is from a dance warmup class I used to take every morning. It's a Dance CD with no breaks: NY Underground Party Vol. 3
I know it sounds silly, but it's club music and it keeps me going.

Some I really like from different styles and eras

If you are feeling a little experimental, I really like these: (you can youtube all of them)

Love Me Sweet - Kid Loco
    Human Behavior - Bjork
Hymn of the Big Wheel - Massive Attack
Let Forever Be - Chemical Brothers
Insomnia - Faithless (this is a bit more edgy but a lot of energy in them)

    Some fun 90's action:
    Going the Distance - Cake
Loser - Beck (Yes I find it uplifting - the lyrics and the beat are totally upbeat :)
    Never There - Cake
The New Pollution (or Devil's Haircut - the whole Odelay album really) - Beck

    Classic "Fight" stuff:
Gonna Fly Now - Bill Conti (I Love this - think "Rocky")
You're the Best Around (from the movie Karate Kid)

    80's
    Africa - Toto
Down Under - Men at Work

Touch of Grey - Grateful Dead

anything that is fast, but my favorite would be eye of the tiger and jive bunny & the master mixers
  • Lately my favorite song to work out to is Linkin Park's Lost in the Echo....

No, you can tell 'em all now
    I don't back up, I don't back down
    I don't fold up, and I don't bow
    I don't roll over, don't know how
I don't care where the enemies are
Can't be stopped, all I know, Go Hard!
Won't forget how I got this far
    For every time, saying...

Really keeps me going, I love it!

    Wild Ones by Flo rida
    Fire Burning
  • Lights (she's from Canada) puts out some great pop/dance music that is awesome to workout to. My all time favorite song to workout to is "Toes" by Lights. It's about capturing someone's attention!

If you're like me, working out to music that makes you feel assertive/aggressive or just plain confident is the way to go.

My other two top picks are Owl City and Katy Perry.

More advice for the ladies; any bands fronted by really good looking guys, like Maroon 5, is good too because it makes you think "If I ever met Adam Levine, how would I want to look? I'd wanna be HOT! LET'S STEP UP THE PACE!"

    Work it!

  • My favorite right now is Stronger by Kelly Clarkson... others on my list right now are Till I Collapse and Lose Yourself by Eminem, Wanna Be Startin Something by Michael Jackson, and several songs from the new Matchbox Twenty album.
